First priority: Red. Your top left and right red screens both have 200 points, while there are a large number of red screens in the center, left, and bottom right of the current board. Prioritize red screens as long as there are red pigs in your queue and you have enough red screens to attack. The goal isn't simply to clear the board, but to continuously reduce the 200 points of the top red screens. Red screens are most valuable in the early stages of this level.

Second priority: Orange. The two orange screens at the top center are both at 100. There are also many orange screens on the left side of the board, around the central figure, and at the bottom, so if Red doesn't have a suitable pig yet, play Orange. You can think of the first half as: Red → Orange → Red → Orange, counting around the top four screens.

Cyan is only used as a "safe transition color". There is a lot of cyan in the top and upper right sky, and 20/40 cyan pigs are easy to use up, but cyan will not directly advance the red/orange curtain. Therefore, there are only three situations where you should prioritize attacking cyan: there are no red/orange pigs at present, you need to free up waiting slots, or cyan is blocking the next layer of red/orange. The most common mistake in curtain levels is to keep clearing the largest color blocks without advancing the curtain.

Dark gray/black is temporarily placed after red and orange. This image has a lot of black and gray, which will be easy to clear later, but right now it mostly consists of the main body of the figure and the underlying outline. Unless the queue forces you to use black pigs, don't continuously stuff black areas just to "make the area look bigger." Your real task in the early stages is still to lift the curtain.

Once any panel rises, immediately change your strategy; don't continue clicking continuously. New pixels will appear behind the panel, potentially making previously dangerous colors suddenly safe. Curtain's strategy specifically emphasizes: re-observe the board after each layer is revealed, as hidden areas may change the optimal color for the next move.

"Rescue" the green pig in the cage in the upper right corner first, but don't use it right away. Pig Cell only needs to clear the side/adjacent pixels protecting it to release the pig; it doesn't require clearing the entire area around the cage. Your green pixels are currently mainly concentrated in the bottom horizontal bar and a few scattered spots, so if the released pig is a common 40-shot green pig, clicking it immediately will likely leave you with a lot of ammo waiting in the slot.
